Tokyo is a city of overlapping layers. A Michelin-starred sushi counter can sit just five minutes from a rundown standing bar in a back alley. High-end galleries exist alongside national museums, and quiet shrines share neighborhoods with raw underground clubs.
To me, all of these are equally valuable cultural signs—small but meaningful pieces of how we read a city and make sense of the world.
For the past 10 years, I’ve:
Explored Tokyo through a socio-cultural lens
Worked as a marketing manager in the IT industry (SaaS)
Immersed myself in art, music, and nightlife scenes across Europe, North America, and Asia
Coordinated international summer programs in Japan for overseas art schools
as a local coordinator and cultural facilitator for visiting students and faculty
That experience sharpened something I had already felt for years: what makes Tokyo special is not its polish, but its unresolved energy. History, quiet nepotism, uneven modernization, and raw creativity continue to collide here in ways that make the city strangely alive.

東京は、異なるレイヤーが重なり合う街
ミシュランの寿司店から歩いて5分の場所に、立ち飲み屋がある。国立美術館のすぐ近くに、小さなインディペンデント・ギャラリーがある。静かな神社と、地下のクラブが同じ街区に共存している。
私にとって、それらはどれも等しく、この街を読み解くための大切な文化の手がかりです。都市をどう読み、世界をどう理解するか。その解像度を少しずつ高めてくれる、小さくても意味のあるサインだと思っています。

海外の美術大学による日本でのサマープログラムではローカルコーディネーター兼カルチュラル・ファシリテーターとして、学生や教員をサポートしました
そうした経験を通じて、以前から感じていたことを確信するようになりました。
東京を特別な街にしているのは、磨き上げられた美しさではありません。
歴史の積み重ね、不完全な近代化、見えにくいネポティズム、そして荒削りな創造性。それらが今も折り重なり、ぶつかり合いながら、この街にどこか奇妙で、生きたエネルギーを生み出しています。
私が目指していることはシンプルです
東京という街の、より深いレイヤーにアクセスするための視点を届けること。そしてその体験を通し、一人ひとりが「自分は何を本当に好きなのか」を見つけるサポートをすること
