Vintage, Music, Temples, Bathhouses & Underground Local Culture
When people think of vintage shopping, they usually think of Shimokitazawa—but there’s another neighborhood with a very different atmosphere.
Koenji is one of Tokyo’s most local neighborhoods, long known as a home for underground artists and musicians. Some even compare its laid-back atmosphere to Osaka.
We’ll explore vintage stores, hidden galleries, independent shops, temples, and traditional bathhouses while learning about Koenji’s history and creative culture.
We’ll also recommend local restaurants and bars for you to enjoy after the tour.
Meeting Point: Koenji Station
End Point: Around Koenji Station
